Meet your Allergy Dietitian
Hi, I’m Laura Freer!
I am the Founder and Principal Dietitian at The Allergy Dietitian Clinic.
I am a highly experienced Paediatric Allergy Dietitian and an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) with 19 years experience working with babies, children and their families.
I am the Senior Dietitian - Allergy & Clinical Immunolgy with the Allergy/Immunology Service at Flinders Medical Centre (SA) and I’m an active member of the Australasian Society of Clinical Immunology and Allergy (ASCIA). I have presented at national conferences on food allergy management and contributed to upskilling Australian dietitians through the ASCIA Food Allergy Course for Dietitians.

Over the years, I’ve supported many children and families through the challenges of food allergies. My passion is helping you feel less stressed at mealtimes while making sure your child gets the nutrition they need to grow and thrive.
As a mum of two, I truly understand the demands of young children and the added anxiety food allergies can bring. That’s why my approach is no-fuss, approachable, and understanding. I aim to provide you with simple, practical, and easy-to-understand advice that works in real life, not just on paper.
I’ll listen carefully to your concerns and work with you on realistic strategies and goals. My mission is to help you feel more confident, less anxious, and reassured that you are doing the very best for your child.
My special focus is supporting parents navigate babies with cow’s milk allergy, eczema and introduction to solids advice, but I also enjoy helping families manage multiple food allergies, eosinophilic oesophagitis, coeliac disease, reflux, lactose intolerance, fructose intolerance and other feeding challenges.
