All phone consultations are conducted by phone call — available to families anywhere in Australia. Face-to-face appointments are available in Adelaide, SA.

Medicare Rebates

Can I Claim a Medicare Rebate?

Yes — you may be eligible for a Medicare rebate of approximately $58.30 per consultation for up to 5 visits per calendar year, if you have a referral from your GP under a Chronic Disease Management (CDM) Plan (also known as an Enhanced Primary Care or EPC plan).

To access your Medicare rebate:

  1. See your GP and ask if your child is eligible for a Chronic Disease Management Plan

  2. Ask your GP to include a dietitian referral on the plan

  3. Bring your referral to your first appointment

  4. We process your Medicare rebate on your behalf

💡 Not sure if your child qualifies? Many children with diagnosed food allergies, failure to thrive, or ongoing nutrition concerns are eligible. It's always worth asking your GP.

ℹ️ A referral is not required to book — but having one means you pay significantly less out of pocket.

Private Health Funds

Private Health Fund Rebates

Dietitian consultations are covered by many Australian private health funds under extras cover. The amount you can claim depends on your fund and level of cover.

We recommend checking with your health fund prior to your appointment to confirm your entitlements.

To claim your health fund rebate:

  • We can provide you with a receipt/invoice after your consultation with all the details your fund requires

Popular funds that commonly cover dietitian consultations include Medibank, Bupa, HCF, nib, HBF, CBHS, and others. Check your fund's extras schedule or call them directly.

NDIS

NDIS Clients Welcome

We welcome clients who are self-managed or plan-managed under the NDIS.

If you are NDIS-funded, please contact us prior to booking so we can confirm arrangements and ensure your plan covers dietitian services.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

We understand that life with little ones can be unpredictable. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we ask that you give us at least 24 hours notice.

  • Cancellations with more than 24 hours notice: No charge

  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice: A cancellation fee of $50 applies

  • Non-attendance without notice: The full consultation fee applies

Payment

Payment

Payment is due at the time of your consultation. We accept:

  • Credit/debit card (Visa, Mastercard). At the time of booking, your credit/debit details will be securely stored by Halaxy for payment of the consultation at the time. This is automated and will occur 5 minutes into the consultation.

  • Alternatively you may wish to do a bank transfer (this will need to occur 24 hours prior to the consultation)

A receipt/invoice will be provided after each consultation for Medicare and health fund claims.
